Kim walked into the luchroom and looked at the breakfeast menu. Today they were serving eggs and hashbrown potaoes. "great" she mumbled as she got into the lunch line. She got her food apple juice and lots and lots of ketchup. She found an open table and sat down. She started to eat what that they called eggs. Luckily she put so much ketchup on the yellow subtances that she could taste the ketchup. She looked around to see if she could find any of her freinds. She saw some a waved them to come and sit down.

PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS STARE---* so give them something to stare about The cafeteria was like a war zone; most of the poor kids that devoured the horrid mess the Lunch Lady was serving looked dead. Or green. Or both. The people avoided those whose whose faces were currently turning different shades of green like the plague. Jesse couldn't blame them, really, because the green people gave everyone within a ten-mile radius a clear warning: stand clear or risk getting showered by crap. It's no wonder when the six foot one Senior and his teammates sauntered into the room carrying Pizza Huts, the crowd of bodies parted like the Red Sea when Moses passed through with the Jews--Jess would know, he was a devote Christian. If you call "hiding his reverence for the Bible to alive in High School" devoted. He watched, amused, as the kids gazed longingly at the box he and his friends were carrying into the canteen, like the Pizza Hut was some precious treasure and Jesse and his guys were gods sent from heaven to save them from famine. He rolled his eyes; you would think that students from an a-class school could afford a pizza, or be smart enough to have someone order one for them so that they could avoid eating something inedible the Lunch Lady concocted, sheesh. Jesse, being the jerk that he wants everybody to know he is, waved the pizza box below their noses, smirking all the way to Kim's table.
[/blockquote][/blockquote] They were on the same clique, he and Kim, the Blue-bloods, but other than that, he knew practically nothing about her so he took this opportunity to get to know her, since she was alone anyway. Jess waved his teammates away, plastered a smile on his face and set the Pizza Hut down on the table. Before he sat down though, he asked, "Is this seat taken?" He knew it wasn't--of course it wasn't because no once was on it, but he decided to ask anyway for, yes, he was a jerk, but he could be a gentleman if he chose to, and he chose to be one now because he genuinely wanted to impress Kim. Besides, it was the polite thing to do, he reckoned.
